1. Who you are dealing with

These terms cover work carried out by Burn Notice Laser Engraving of Abbotsford, British Columbia ("we", "us"), whether ordered through this website, by email, by phone or in person. Placing an order means you accept them.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days and are in Canadian dollars. Prices exclude GST and BC PST, which are added where they apply — PST is charged on goods and is not charged on engraving labour for items you supply. Setup, artwork preparation and rush work are quoted separately.

3. Deposits and payment

Custom and batch work normally requires a 50% deposit before production starts, with the balance due on completion. Retail and market-day sales are paid in full at the time of purchase. Work remains our property until it is paid for.

4. Artwork and proofs

You are responsible for the spelling, dates, names and layout you supply, and for having the right to use any logo or image you send us. Where we provide a proof, production starts from the version you approve — we cannot remake an item free of charge because of an error that was in an approved proof.

5. Customer-supplied items

We take great care with tools and keepsakes you send in, but engraving is permanent and some materials react unpredictably to a laser. We will always test where we can. Items you supply are engraved at your risk, and our liability is limited to the engraving charge for that item. Send a spare where one exists.

6. Turnaround and delivery

Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on material supply. Free local delivery is offered within Abbotsford on orders over $250.00 before taxes; otherwise choose pickup in Townline Hill or flat-rate shipping. Risk passes to you once an item is collected, delivered or handed to the carrier.

7. Returns

Personalised and engraved goods cannot be returned or exchanged, as they cannot be resold. If an item arrives damaged or does not match the approved proof, tell us within 7 days and we will remake or refund it.

8. Cancellations

Cancel before production starts and your deposit is refunded in full. Once materials are cut or marked, the deposit covers work already done and is non-refundable.

9. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or missed events. Nothing here removes rights you have under BC consumer protection law.

10. Governing law
