Who we are

Burn Notice Laser Engraving is a laser engraving business based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us any time at burnnoticelaser@gmail.com or 604 671 1392.

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone number and address, when you request a quote or place an order
• The details of your job — artwork, text, files and photos you send us
• Order and payment records: what you bought, the amount, and the tax charged
• Nothing else. We do not run advertising trackers or sell mailing lists.

Card payments

Card payments are processed by Square. Your card number never reaches our systems — we only ever see the last four digits, the card brand and a transaction reference so we can match a payment to your order.

Bookkeeping and QuickBooks

We keep our books in QuickBooks Online. Our internal workshop system posts sales and supplier bills into our own QuickBooks company so the accounting stays current — the same information that would appear on your invoice: your name, contact details, what was sold, the amount and the tax. We do not access anyone else's QuickBooks data, we do not copy QuickBooks records into any other system, and the connection can be revoked by us at any time from inside QuickBooks or our own settings.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the business: Square (payments), Intuit QuickBooks Online (accounting), and Resend (sending you quotes, invoices and order updates by email). Each one only receives what it needs for that job. We never sell or rent your information, and we only hand it to anyone else if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Sales, tax and supplier records are kept for seven years, because Canada Revenue Agency and BC PST rules require it. Artwork and job files are kept so repeat orders match your last one — ask us and we will delete them.

Your choices

Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. If you joined our store launch list, every email we send has an obvious way to stop them.

Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be mentioned on this page rather than slipped in quietly.
